Description

Expo Training Camp

The Arizona Cardinals and ASU Sun Devils aren’t the only ones who attend training camp! ADOT in partnership with Valley Metro and the City of Phoenix Streets Transportation and Aviation Departments will hold “Training Camp” on Thursday, October 30 at 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. at the ADOT Human Resource Development Center, 1130 North 22nd. Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85009. Small businesses interested in pursuing any and all opportunities with the modal agencies are encouraged to attend. "Training Camp" is a free event and you do not have to be a certified firm to attend.

Today, winning contracts requires more than just a good qualifications package or interview. It's about networking, connecting and improving visibility with agencies, owners, primes, and buyers. Training Camp will provide helpful tips and “3-minute pitch” techniques to small businesses as they continue to develop relationships as they grow their businesses. Following the presentation there will be opportunities for questions, informal discussion, and networking. Training Camp is a “prep” event for Arizona DBE and Small Business Expo on November 5.

NOTE: Attendance of Training Camp is mandatory to participate in the “2-minute Drills” (presenting your company in two minutes to all attending!) at the Arizona DBE and Small Business Expo.

For Training Camp details, contact Kent Lane, ADOT, at klane@azdot.gov.
